Mr. Deaderick, born October 9, 1943 in Harrisonburg and raised in Richmond, was graduated from Virginia Military Institute, receiving a B.S. degree in Chemistry (1965), and Washington and Lee University, School of Law, where he took a J.D. degree (1972). He was admitted to the Bars of Massachusetts (1973), New York (1977) and Virginia (1990) and has practiced law since 1972. Formerly he served as a Public Defender in Boston (1972-1976) and Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of New York (1978-1982). He maintained a private practice in Manhattan until 1990 when he relocated to Fredericksburg where he presently has his law office. He held the rank of Captain while serving in the United States Army, Armor 1966-1968 (stationed in Europe during the Viet Nam conflict) and in the Army Reserves 1968-1972.
